NIOS 2026 Admit Cards Released for Class 10 and 12 Exams

Hall passes for the theory examinations of April-May 2026 have been made available by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), providing students with an important insight ahead of the test season. Admit cards for students appearing in secondary and senior secondary courses are now available online, but only once they have paid their examination fees.

The board has once again reminded students of its policy that there should be a gap of two years between passing Class 10 and appearing for the Class 12 exam. Senior Secondary students who do not comply with this guideline will be informed on their hall pass that they are allowed to take only four subjects during this examination period.

Students should carefully check the important information given on their admit card. Apart from the date and time of each exam, it includes student name, enrollment number, course, photo, exam venue, subject names and codes. Important instructions, reporting deadlines and any unique information regarding subject limits or eligibility are also included.

It is recommended that students thoroughly review each element of their hall pass. Errors in exam day, subject code, exam centre, or personal information can cause problems. Students must download and print their own admit cards prior to testing as they will not be sent by post. Visit the official website nios.ac.in.
