Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) proudly announces the extension of its collaboration with the Department of Women & Child Development (DWCD), Government of NCT of Delhi, for the continuation of Project Samridhi — a flagship initiative aimed at enabling women to lead, innovate, and transform their communities through entrepreneurship.
The extension of this partnership reaffirms the shared vision of the Delhi Government and DSEU to create a sustainable ecosystem for women entrepreneurs by combining skill development, mentorship, and enterprise support. Since its inception, Project Samridhi has empowered hundreds of women across Delhi with hands-on training, mentorship, and guidance to establish and scale their businesses.
Through this renewed collaboration, the University aims to strengthen the network of women-led enterprises and promote a spirit of self-reliance and confidence among aspiring entrepreneurs. The focus will remain on inclusive growth, innovation, and creating livelihood opportunities that translate skills into successful and sustainable ventures.
Expressing his gratitude on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar Nagawat, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, DSEU, said : “We sincerely thank the Department of Women & Child Development and the Government of NCT of Delhi for their continued trust in DSEU’s mission. Project Samridhi reflects our collective belief that empowering women through entrepreneurship is not just about economic upliftment, but about transforming communities and inspiring generations. This extension motivates us to deepen our outreach and create even greater opportunities for women to thrive as innovators, leaders, and change-makers.”
Prof. Nagawat further emphasized that DSEU remains committed to developing pathways for women to access education, mentorship, and enterprise-building opportunities that align with the university’s larger mission of ‘Skilling Delhi, Empowering India.’
Partnership for Progress
With support of the Department of Women & Child Development, GNCTD, Project Samridhi has evolved into a powerful example of how academic institutions and government departments can jointly drive social and economic transformation. The initiative continues to identify and support women from diverse backgrounds — helping them acquire entrepreneurial skills, connect with markets, and access mentorship that fosters independence and confidence.
This renewed partnership will allow DSEU to reach a wider audience of women entrepreneurs and amplify its role as a catalyst for inclusive development. The University plans to expand training sessions, host entrepreneurship bootcamps, and strengthen mentorship linkages through collaboration with successful women entrepreneurs and industry experts.
A Shared Commitment: DSEU-DWCD
DSEU extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Department of Women & Child Development and the Government of NCT of Delhi for their constant encouragement and collaboration in advancing women’s empowerment. The University reaffirms its dedication to building an entrepreneurial ecosystem where every woman is equipped with the tools, skills, and confidence to turn her ideas into impactful enterprises.
