New Delhi: The CBSE has made a formal announcement regarding the admission card for Class 10 Second Phase Board Examination 2026. Immediately after the completion of the February-March session, this second phase, which was launched as per NEP 2020, provides students with an opportunity to improve their marks or pass their subjects.

This has been officially declared on May 5, 2026, that these exams will begin from May 15, 2026, till May 21, 2026.

The downloading procedure varies according to the student's status as follows:

· For Regular Students: Students cannot just download their hall tickets. In order to download admission cards in bulk, schools should make use of their affiliation login credentials to visit the official CBSE website www.cbse.gov.in. Before distributing the cards to children, the principal of the school should first sign and stamp them.

· For Private Candidates: Private students are required to download their admit cards by using either their application numbers, previous roll numbers, or name and date of birth.

The exams will be conducted in an offline, pen-and-paper format. Below are the key dates for major subjects:

· May 15, 2026: Mathematics (Standard and Basic)

· May 16, 2026: English (Communicative), English (Language and Literature)

· May 18, 2026: Science

· May 19, 2026: Languages, Home Science, Hindustani Music

· May 20, 2026: Painting, Sanskrit, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence

· May 21, 2026: Social Science [1]

Mandatory Exam-Day Guidelines

In order to ensure successful implementation of the second phase, the CBSE has issued strict guidelines. The below-mentioned instructions need to be observed by parents and students alike: 

1. Time to Report: After 10:00 AM, no candidate shall be allowed entry into the examination venue. Candidates are advised to report at least forty-five minutes prior. 

2. Documents to Carry: In addition to the ID card issued by the respective schools, candidates should carry a printed copy of the admit card, signed by the principal.

3. Uniform Policy: Regular students must report in their school uniform.

4. Things Forbidden: Absolutely no electronic gadgets are allowed inside the hall; these include calculators, smartphones and smartwatches. Students are advised to bring along an unlabelled plastic bottle of water along with basic stationery in transparent pouches. 

5. Telegram /WhatsApp Warning: The board has also advised students not to indulge in spreading rumors on Telegram or WhatsApp regarding examinations.
