The BHU courses will commence on January 26th and February 16th, 2026, respectively.

SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) program was initiated by the Ministry of Education to provide all individuals with free, quality online education.

Nevertheless, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will start to offer 48 courses from Arabic to zoology, starting from January 26, 2026. Two Defense & Strategic Studies and Forensic Accounting courses will be taught to students at Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU). The interested candidates can take the course by going to swayam.gov.in/INI and registering.

Dr. Ashutosh Mohan, National Coordinator, INI-SWAYAM, MoE, GoI, Institute of Management Studies, BHU, called it, "This is a major advancement of access, flexibly, and quality." BHU will make sure that the INI-SWAYAM courses will be interdisciplinary, skill-building and accessible to all students with a drive, thus aligning them with the spirit of NEP 2020. To this he added that the INI SWAYAM course offerings will include two courses developed collaboratively with international partners.
