9 Schools Receive Bomb Threats

Bomb threats were received by a number of schools across Delhi on Monday morning. Bomb squads and fire tenders were immediately deployed to the scene after the urgent bomb scare, which was received at 8:33 am, according to the Delhi Fire Service (DFS).
Between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m., at least nine schools reportedly received bomb threat emails, viz., The Indian School, Sadiq Nagar; CM Shri School, Rohini; DTEA School, INA; Bal Bharti School, Rohini; Venkateshwar Global School, Rohini; Venkateshwar School, Rohini; and Manav Sthali School, New Rajinder Nagar.
Fire crews and bomb disposal teams were dispatched immediately upon receiving a notification from the Delhi Police. People inside the building were immediately removed. Currently, searches are in progress, the authorities say.
