The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, through MY Bharat, is organising the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Program (VBYCP)—a flagship national initiative aimed at empowering India’s youth and connecting them with the nation’s developmental roadmap towards Viksit Bharat@2047.
The program, conducted in collaboration with universities and colleges across the country, serves as an effective bridge between the government and young citizens—especially students from rural, urban, and tribal areas—through participatory sessions, meaningful dialogues, and digital integration via the MY Bharat platform.
This initiative reflects the visionary leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who has consistently inspired youth to play a leading role in nation-building and in achieving the goal of a self-reliant and developed India by 2047.
The Department of Students’ Welfare at Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) successfully organized the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Program at its Dwarka Campus on 23rd March 2026, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and volunteers.
The event commenced with a warm welcome of distinguished guests by Dr. Pankaj Lathar, Campus Director, Dwarka, along with Maj. Shyam Mohan Parashar, Director, Students’ Welfare. The dignitaries were felicitated with planters and mementos, symbolizing sustainability and respect.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Lathar inspired the youth to actively engage in transformative initiatives like VBYCP and emphasized their crucial role in realizing the vision of a developed India by 2047. His motivating words encouraged students to contribute meaningfully towards nation-building.
The keynote address was delivered by Ms. Sakshi Pandey, a distinguished educator and motivational speaker from Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. Her insightful talk on the 150-year journey of “Vande Mataram” instilled a deep sense of patriotism and cultural pride among the attendees.
Further enriching the session, Mr. Priyank Mishra, Assistant Private Secretary to Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon’ble Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, informed students about various flagship initiatives of the Ministry.
