DU fresh guideline
...

The University of Delhi's Proctorial Board met on Monday to discuss ways to make sure that new students have a safe and easy induction process as the new school year gets underway. Many decisions were made to implement a zero-tolerance policy with the goal of upholding campus discipline and preventing ragging events.
The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and its provisions, in particular Ordinances XV-B and XV-C, must be scrupulously followed by colleges and departments.

Mandatory Anti-Ragging Undertaking: In accordance with the Hon'ble Supreme Court's orders, all recently admitted students and their parents/guardians are required to submit an anti-ragging undertaking at the time of admission via the national portal http://www.antiragging.in.
Joint Control Rooms: To handle student problems and offer prompt support, two control rooms will be open from August 1 to August 8 at North Campus (Tel: 27667221) and South Campus (Tel: 24119832).
Anti-Ragging Week Observance: In accordance with UGC regulations, August 12 will be Anti-Ragging Day, and August 18 will be Anti-Ragging Week.
Broad Awareness: At strategic points throughout both campuses, anti-ragging posters in Hindi and English have been put up.

Monitoring and Restricted Entry: Colleges and dorms must clearly post anti-ragging policies and prohibit outside entry. With the assistance of NCC/NSS student volunteers, they are also instructed to establish Vigilance Squads and Anti-Ragging Committees.
Patrolling and Police Pickets: Every campus will have police pickets outside, with a focus on women's colleges. To guarantee student safety, campus patrols will be carried out on a regular basis.
Women Police Deployment: To stop ragging and eve-teasing, Delhi Police has promised to send out plainclothes women officers on and near college property.

Verification of PG lodgings: Students who choose to pay for guest lodgings are encouraged to make sure that the local police have properly checked their residences.

Online Complaint Mechanism: Online reporting and cybercrime referrals are two simplified methods for reporting ragging, according to police officials.
Frequent Compliance Reports: All institutional heads are required to submit weekly compliance reports for the first three months of the academic year, and then monthly reports after that, in accordance with UGC's 2009 anti-ragging policies. The University Proctor can be reached at proctor@du.ac.in.
