NEET UG 2025 Result
...

The results of the NEET-UG 2025 have been released, and they show a notable change in trends, most notably the lack of perfect scores and a lower overall top score than in prior years.
The one winner, Mahesh Kumar of Rajasthan, had a percentile of 99.99. Utkarsh Awadhiya of Madhya Pradesh, who achieved a percentile of 99.99, came in second to him.
This year, no applicant received a perfect score of 720, and the top score fell to 686.

On the other hand, 17 pupils received a perfect score of 720 previous year; however, following a Supreme Court intervention regarding inconsistencies in answer keys and grace marks, this number was eventually changed to 61. In contrast to previous years, the NTA has not disclosed the specific scores of the top 50 applicants this time.

The cut-off scores have decreased in tandem with the decline in the top scores. The qualifying range for the general category was 686–144. This is lower than the range of 720–162 last year and 720–137 in 2023.
According to the official statistics, 73 individuals received scores between 651 and 686 this year. It's possible that the 2025 exam's more stringent monitoring and evaluation procedures are what caused the notable drop in top marks.

12.37 lakh of the 22.09 lakh students who took the NEET UG exam this year passed, meaning that more than 56% of them qualified. The number of participants decreased little from the 23.33 lakh recorded the previous year.

With approximately 58% (7.22 lakh) of those who qualified and more than half of all test-takers being female, female candidates continued to dominate the results.
