Delhi University PG Admissions 2026 : For the admission process in the two-year post-graduate course offered by the university, 74 courses have been offered with 11,548 seats available in total under various reserved categories.
The admissions for Unreserved category, Scheduled Castes and Tribes, OBCs Non-Creamy Layer, Economically Weaker Sections, Persons with Benchmark Disability, Kashmiri Migrant (KM), Single Girl Child (SGC), and Orphan Category all come under the first round of admissions that opened on Monday.
As per the information provided, those candidates allotted seats need to pay the fee by June 19 while the last date for acceptance of seats will be on June 17.
The varsity further clarified that admissions for performance-oriented courses such as MA Music, M P Ed, B P Ed, MFA, etc., and through admissions from CW and sports category shall be made along with the third round of admissions.
It further informed that candidates applying for these courses should try to find the schedule of their auditions and performances on the websites of respective departments.
As per the notification, the marks obtained by candidates in CUET-PG are used for admission to two-year postgraduate courses through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-PG).
Admission process of two-year postgraduate programs was held from May 16 to June 7. The candidates were advised to fill as many options as possible, and previously university authorities had mentioned that candidates will be eligible to apply only in such subject streams in which they appeared in the CUET-PG.
Under the NEP 2020 plan, DU will also start admission to its newly introduced one-year PG courses. Only those DU students who have completed their four-year bachelor’s degree and are eligible according to certain criteria can take part in admission process of these one-year PG courses.
During the initial year of introducing the course, it was declared by DU Dean of Admissions Haneet Gandhi that a separate portal will be introduced for one-year PG admission.
