In all 75 districts, the Uttar Pradesh Culture Department will host a special summer program to assist kids in connecting with India's cultural heritage. Students in Classes 6–8 from government upper primary and composite schools are eligible to participate in the event, which is scheduled for June 21–25.

From June 21 to June 25, students in government upper primary and composite schools will participate in seminars centered around Indian culture, music, and theater.

Children will be exposed to many facets of Indian music, art, and ancient knowledge systems during the week-long session. Drama, music, painting, sculpting, and thematic seminars centered around the Ramayana and Vedic literature will all be part of the activities. Key roles in running the sessions will be played by organizations including the Music Art Academy, Lalit Kala Academy, and Bharatendu Drama Academy.

Specific program elements have been delineated in a letter recently distributed to Basic Education Officers around the state by the Director of the International Ramayana and Vedic Research Institute, Ayodhya. These include of painting with Ramlilas as inspiration, face decorating from the Ramayana, mask-making classes, Vedic chanting, general Vedic knowledge, and reciting the Ramcharitmanas.

The Principal Secretary of Culture, Mukesh Meshram, believes that the summer vacation offers a chance to help young people develop a greater understanding of Indian culture. This program aims to foster pride and curiosity in our cultural heritage in addition to education. Similar to prior years, our goal is to include kids in artistic endeavors that foster their interest in classic literature and art," he stated.

Due to the interest-based nature of the workshops, students are allowed to attend the sessions that most interest them. The state government expects the initiative would give schoolchildren a solid foundation for cultural literacy.
