IGNOU begins registration for January 2026

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced that it is now open for new applicants for January 2026. Those students who are interested in taking online courses and enrolling in online distance learning (ODL) programs for the January 2026 academic year are welcome to do so. The last date for submitting applications for various programs is January 31. 

In order to be considered for the different programs, candidates will have to meet some specific eligibility criteria. Those aspiring for undergraduate programs have to clear their 10+2 examination from a recognized board. A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is the minimum requirement for master's degree programs. In addition, some diploma and certificate programs may require the applicants to have prior qualifications or relevant work experience.
