DU announces Round 3 seat allocation for UG courses across 69 colleges

Delhi University (DU) has released the allocation list for the round 3 seat for admission to its graduate (UG) programs. The list has been released for 79 graduate programs, including performance-based programs such as music, Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), and Physical Education, Health Education and Sports (PE/He/S).
In the third round, 7,061 students have secured seats, causing total admission to the university to 67,582 this year. The university consists of 69 colleges, which offer a total of 71,624 seats for admission. The allocation list for additional-reconciliation activities (ECA), Sports and Universities (CW) candidates of children/wards will be published on August 15 at 5 pm. Students will be able to specify their will for the seat by 17 August. The verification process for the same will be conducted by the university till 18 August.
Satisfied with their results, students will have to pay the seat acceptance fee before August 19. Du had published the list of vacant seats and opened the application window on August 8, 2025. The application window was closed on August 10, which gives a new opportunity for those who missed the first round. Earlier, DU re -opened the application window between August 8 and August 10, which had missed the early stages. The latest vacant seat list was also released to make it transparent and candidates were allowed to take intelligent decisions before round 3.
After the completion of this round, the DU will once again modify the vacant seat matrix for the future allocation rounds. Prior to the third round of allocation, candidates admitted in the first round were given the opportunity to upgrade their preferences during upgrade and preference reunion window. This allowed candidates to choose the option of higher preference programs or colleges, in which advanced seat allocation is automatically processed at the college level. Admission to an advanced seat is confirmed only on successful fees payments.
