...

The first allocation list for undergraduate admissions at the University of Delhi under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2025 has been published. Out of the candidates who submitted their preferences, 2,39,890 in total can verify their allotment status on the official website at admission.uod.ac.in. Alongside the allotment list, each college will post its cut-off marks for 2025 on its own website.

The list shows a total of 93,166 allocations for 71,624 seats across 79 undergraduate programs offered by 69 affiliated colleges of the university.

“Over 93,000 allocations have been made against 71,624 seats according to past patterns and needs, as numerous students shuffle their seats between colleges,” stated a senior DU official.

The university's data indicates that there have been 1,325 allocations in the single girl child category, and a total of 259 orphan candidates have received seats—127 females and 132 males. In the first two hours after the allocations went live, 27,533 candidates accepted their allotted seats, demonstrating a quick and eager response from applicants.

According to the official timetable, those candidates who have been allocated a seat in the first list must confirm their acceptance of this allocated seat between 5 pm on July 19 and 4:59 pm on July 21. Colleges will confirm and sanction the applications by July 22, and the deadline for paying the admission fee is July 23, 2025, at 4:59 pm.

On July 24, 2025, Delhi University will release the list of vacant seats for the second round based on completed and verified admissions.

As per the official announcement released by DU, after a seat has been allocated to a candidate in a specific round, they are required to accept it within the designated timeframe. Only for the round in which the seat has been allocated is this acceptance valid.

When candidates are allocated multiple seats because of supernumerary quotas, they are required to accept and move forward with only one of them. Not accepting the seat within the allotted time frame will be viewed as a rejection, making the candidate ineligible for the upcoming regular rounds of CSAS (UG)-2025.

DU Admissions 2025: Rules for withdrawal of admission

Those candidates who intend to cancel their admission can use their dashboard to do so by choosing the ‘Withdraw’ option and paying a Rs 1,000 non-refundable fee. Nonetheless, if one withdraws, they will lose their eligibility for future undergraduate admissions at Delhi University.

Such candidates will be barred from taking part in any forthcoming regular allocation rounds. If spot admission rounds are conducted, the withdrawal option will also be suspended during these rounds.
