Delhi University Begins Admission Process
...

Admissions for the 2025–2026 academic year have begun at Delhi University (DU), and undergraduate registration is now open through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.

The addition of Class 10 board test results as an extra tie-breaker for students with identical CUET and Class 12 scores is a significant modification to this year's procedure. According to Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh, an auto-accept feature has been added to the admission page to help students avoid missing their seat assignments.

There are 71,624 seats available for 79 undergraduate programs spread across 69 institutions at DU. On August 1, the school year will start.
Following the announcement of the CUET results, the second round of UG admissions will start. Now, students can apply with one language and three subjects or two languages and two topics; the combination that results in the highest score will be taken into account. For BSc (Hons), the previous requirement of at least 30% in language topics has been abandoned.

Through its Center for Innovative Skill-Based Courses, DU has also opened enrollment for skill-based programs.
Almost 2,000 students accepted their seats within the first two hours of announcements, out of 11,314 seats that have been allocated thus far at the postgraduate level. 82 postgraduate programs are available at DU this year, including brand-new ones like the MA in Hindi Journalism and the MA in Tourism Management. Additionally, plans are in motion to introduce an MA in Journalism inside the English department.

Additionally, the five-year integrated law, BTech, and School of Open Learning (SOL) programs now have open admissions portals. While MBA, BLISc, MLISc, and PGDADLM programs will continue to be merit-based, the majority of postgraduate admissions in SOL will be determined by CUET scores.
