Delhi Government budget 2025

The first budget of the recently elected BJP government for the fiscal year 2025–2026 was unveiled in the capital by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. The amount of money the government has set aside for the education sector, 19,291 crore, has increased by 17.7% from the previous fiscal year.
The CM said, "It claimed to prioritize education in Delhi, but its actions were contrary," the chief minister stated. It gave Delhi false information about education, and its policies denied kids a bright future.
60 new 'CM Shri' schools will open, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated as she presented this year's budget. "These schools will implement the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSC) 2023 and be fully compliant with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020," she says. These 60 CM Shri schools would receive Rs 100 crore of the overall education budget, while an education hub in Narela will receive Rs 500 crore.

CM added that four state-run institutions have been given 1,270 apartments to assist "establish or expand" their campuses.
Among these were Guru Govimd Singhy Indraprashtha University (GGSIPU), Dr. BR Ambedkar University Delhi (DPRSU), and Delhi Technological University (DSEU).
Additionally, plans have been made to redevelop ITI Pusa and build ITI Shahdara. Additionally, Rs 886 crore has been allocated for training and technical education programs, and Rs 21 crore will be used to launch the Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Vidya Shakti Mission, which will provide professional guidance to students preparing for the JEE, NEET, CLAT, CA, and CUET exams.
In order to enhance healthcare services and advance medical education, she also announced the opening of two new medical colleges in Delhi.
In order to promote entrepreneurship among young people, the government will also establish eleven startup incubation centers. According to the Chief Minister, a proposal of Rs 2.43 crore has been made for this project, which will help young entrepreneurs and encourage businesses.
