UGC Declares 32 Universities fake Across India

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has warned that degrees issued by 32 institutions functioning as fake universities in India are not valid for further education or employment. Among these, Delhi has the highest number of twelve such institutions, followed by Uttar Pradesh and other states. Before applying for admission, candidates have been advised to check the recognition status of these institutions.

According to the Commission, none of these institutions are recognized by the federal government or the state governments. The warning stated that degrees issued by these institutions are not recognized, as per Sections 2(f) and 3 of the UGC Act.
