Student’s suicide : blames teachers in note

A deeply distressing incident has shaken everyone — a young class 10 student, who allegedly died by suicide near Rajendra Place Metro Station, left a note accusing his school teachers of harassment and calling for strict action against them. This tragedy is not just an individual loss; it is a painful reminder of how fragile a child’s mind can be when pushed beyond limits.
“For the past 8-10 months, he’s been complaining that his teacher scold him for every little thing. The teacher even complained to me about his mischievious behaviour. Despite our insistence, she continued to torture him. We told him we’d change the school as soon as he passed 10 grade. Three days ago, just before his exam prelims, he was threatened with expulsion. Yesterday he slipped and fell and the teacher scold him in front of entire class and says he do it intentionally. He could not bear the humiliation. I received a call at 3:15 pm that he had fallen from the metro station” the father of the victim said.
The father also mentioned that his son also write the names of the teachers who tortured him.
Even if strict action is taken against the teachers who allegedly tortured and humiliated the student… even if suspensions or punishments follow… the heartbreaking truth remains that the child’s life will not come back. No disciplinary action can ever replace a lost life.
