Delhi schools receive bomb threats

Bomb threats were made against five Delhi schools, including Prasad Nagar and Dwarka Sector 5, which prompted an urgent response from the police and fire service. Investigations are underway, according to officials, and teams are on the scene.
This week, there have been three such incidents, including the threats. Bomb threat emails were sent to more than 50 Delhi schools on Wednesday. Police said that Andhra School in Karol Bagh and SKV Hauz Rani in Malviya Nagar were among the targeted establishments.
At least 32 schools had issued similar threats just 48 hours prior, causing widespread panic and evacuations. Between 7.30 am and 12.25 pm on Monday, Delhi Fire Services reported receiving calls from 32 schools after administrators discovered threatening emails.
The majority of the schools, including Delhi Public School, BGS International Public School, Shri Venkateshwar School, and Global School, were situated in Dwarka. DPS Dwarka even declared the day's shutdown and sent students home.
At least 74 educational institutions in Delhi-NCR have received bomb threats since January, according to police statistics, including 70 schools and four colleges.
