Within a few days, the Directorate of Education(DOE) in Delhi will be releasing results for the 2026 CM SHRI Entrance Test (CM SHRI). The CM SHRI Entrance Test was given on April 13, 2026, to 75 schools located in Delhi. Through this entrance test the CM SHRI at all of the participating schools are enrolling into 6th and 9th grades for academic year 2026-27.
Of the 75 schools giving the CM SHRI Entrance Test there were 18 girl's only schools, 5 boy's only schools and 52 co-educational schools. If you are one of the individuals who took the CM SHRI Entrance Test, you can look for the results to be announced by April 30, 2026.
The admission process will continue with the creation of a merit list and allocation of schools following the release of results. To be admitted into the residential Shaheed Bhagat Singh CM SHRI School, all applicants must pass a second round that contains both a physical and medical examination to assess their fitness level. The cumulative scores for all applicants will be considered when selecting a final candidate for the position of SHAHEED BHAGAT SINGH CM School.
The eligibility criteria : Candidates attending either an accredited school or a public school in Delhi as of the 2025-2026 school year will be eligible for admission.
To improve access to education, a minimum of 50% of available spots will be allocated to applicants from public schools like the D.O.E., M.C.D., N.D.M.C., K.V.'s (Kendriya Vidyalayas), J.N.V (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas), and Delhi Government Aided Schools.
The minimum eligibility criteria for applicants in the general category is a 25% score or higher to make it onto a merit list; applicants in the reserved category have an eligibility criteria of a 5% score or higher.
