The third year of the unique scholarship program designed for postgraduate students who are residents of India was announced on Monday by King's College London. “The program is specifically structured to eliminate financial impediments in the path of students who are working towards degrees that can extend a positive influence in society.”

Up to 40 Indian students who are enrolled as full-time on-campus students at the top London institution can benefit by up to 5,000 pounds in fee reductions as part of the Vice Chancellor Awards, starting September 2026.

In order to be considered eligible for the prize, the students need to demonstrate that after completing their studies, they will be able to contribute to society using their knowledge and talents, and demonstrate their strategies to optimize their time spent at university on a personal and academic level.

“As somebody who went out of Delhi to pursue postgraduate programs overseas, I am extremely proud to launch the third year of the Vice Chancellor awards targeting Indian domiciled students,” Professor Shitij Kapur, Vice Chancellor and President of King’s College London, said.

We're absolutely certain that King's can provide gifted and driven students with a special opportunity to thrive and make a fundamentally amazing contribution to society. Our award winners inspire us every year, and I'm looking forward to welcoming our newest winners to King's in September," he said.

These awards are currently available for Indian students who have received an offer to study for their first on-campus postgraduate program in the faculties of King's Business School (KBS); Life Sciences and Medicine (FoLSM); Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Science (NMES); Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care; The Dickson Poon School of Law (DPSoL); Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN); and Arts and Humanities.
